Background

Breville operates a sizeable distribution centre in Botany with a large number of employees working a variety of shifts. The site has casual, full time and part time employees, and a diverse variety of entitlements to be paid out at the end of the working week. Breville wanted a system to streamline the entire process.

Solution

PeopleKey installed 3 V70i fingerprint readers for time and attendance purposes, along with Fingerlan software. Breville employees simply use their finger to log in and out of each shift. Our biometric attendance software works with Breville’s existing payroll software to provide a complete solution from clock-in to payroll.

Result

Breville now have the ability to keep track of their employees' attendance and run queries on in/out times. They have also eliminated the 2-4% excess payroll expenditure that would typically occur with standard timeclock systems.
