Background

Like most businesses, Roses Only strives to reduce their overhead cost by improving operating procedures. With their employees beginning and ending their working day at varying times, keeping tabs on who is working and when can become quite time consuming. Roses Only recognized that not maintaining accurate attendance records was translating into significant financial losses. They wanted to address this problem immediately by improving their time recording processes.

Solution

PeopleKey installed V70i fingerprint readers linked to a stand-alone PC running Fingerlan. This allows Roses Only employees to record their arrival and departure from the workplace with just the touch of a finger. The resulting in/out transactions are archived on the biometric readers and also sent to Fingerlan, where customized employee attendance reports can be generated for management and payroll purposes.

The PeopleKey biometric attendance solution allows Roses Only to more efficiently and accurately monitor employee attendance, while allowing employees to clock in and out very quickly with a fingerprint.
