Customers who are currently placing orders for the V70i fingerprint reader may note that the product they receive is labeled “V90” on the outer case. The V70i product was recently fitted with a new main board that offers the same functionality as previous versions, but has a smaller form factor.  The change was made in order to standardize the main board for use in the current product, as well as in new hardware models that are currently under development.  

For record-keeping purposes it was decided that PeopleKey readers shipping with the new main board would be labeled “V90”.  The V90-labeled products have exactly the same features and functionality as the original V70i.  Nearly all new orders are now being fulfilled with V90 readers, at no additional cost to you.  Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns.
