V90 High Quality.bmpAre you using an Identix Fingerscan V20 biometric reader to control access to your facilities, or to keep track of employee attendance?  Do you need to expand your current V20 network, or replace Fingerscan V20 devices that have been damaged?  PeopleKey has the answer.  Identix stopped manufacturing and supporting the Fingerscan V20 series several years ago, but PeopleKey's V90 fingerprint reader is fully backward-compatible with the Fingerscan V20 product and Fingerlan software.

The PeopleKey V90 is a very advanced biometric device; in addition to offering state of the art features, it has the ability to auto-convert the Identix Fingerscan V20's existing fingerprint templates over to the new ANSI-standard format with no need to re-enroll users.  In other words, you can use the PeopleKey V90 as a direct plug-and-play replacement for your Fingerscan V20 device.

How does it work?

The PeopleKey V90 is fully backward compatible with Identix V20 networks.  This means that you can add one or more PeopleKey V90s to a Fingerscan V20 network and the new devices will "talk" with the old devices without any issues.  This allows you to add to, or replace your existing Fingerscan V20 system with no need to re-enroll users, install new software or retrain your employees!  We even designed the V90 backplate to be backward compatible, so you don't need to drill new holes in the wall.
