How it Works

With the swipe of a finger, our biometric solution immediately verifies a known individual's identity and his assigned access privileges. Assuming the individual has access privileges for the door that he is attempting to enter, the PeopleKey fingerprint reader sends a message to the door strike or alarm system in order to trip the lock.  The individual is able to able to enter the door in question, and the fingerprint reader records the transaction both in its internal memory and in the central Fingerlan database. 

Since a person's fingerprint can't be lost or stolen, concerns over unauthorized access are eliminated. The biometric access control system is scalable and can be used to control access to a single room, or dozens of doors with zoned levels of access and variable times of entry.

PeopleKey's solution provides full monitoring and auditing functions, and can be integrated seamlessly into new or existing security systems (including card or PIN-based systems). Anti-tamper switches, US government-approved fingerprint matching algorithms, and two-person verification options are all standard features.
